My Flying Lesson

Well on the 17th July at 2pm, I took the plunge and had my first flying lesson at Blackbushe Airport in Camberely.

Aerobility Flying Club is a registered Charity for anyone who has a disability who wants to learn to fly.

Everyone made me feel so welcome, it was fantastic………

but everyone kept asking “are you nervous” I almost started to think should I be!!

Me nervous, no not a nerve in my body….This wonderful small single propelled plane was beckoning me to take my first lesson.

I climbed 1000 feet into the sky…

It was very bumpy and a little like flying a tin can but hey….it was amazing.

Under the supervision of a very handsome pilot by the name of JJ I took hold of the steering, stirred 30 degrees to the right, then steadied up and then proceeded to 30 degrees to the left.

It was a magical experience and now looking forward to my next flying lesson up and away!!
